IPTOR PRIVACY POLICY

Iptor Sweden AB and our subsidiaries and affiliates ("Iptor" or "we") know that you care how the information we receive from and about you is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. This Policy demonstrates our commitment to protecting your information and describes how we collect and use your personal information, how you can control its use, and how we treat the information we collect through the Iptor website www.iptor.com ("Website"), subdomains of iptor.com, computer or mobile software applications, social media pages, and HTML-formatted email messages, as well as through offline sales and marketing activities (collectively, "Channels").

Iptor complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and will never grant unauthorized third parties access to your personal data.

Our primary goal in collecting information is to provide you with a friendly, personalized, and efficient experience. We collect the following types of information from our customers:

Personal Information: Through your interaction with and use of the Channels, Iptor may collect personal information, which is information that identifies or relates to an identifiable individual. Personal information may include, but is not limited to: your name, address, telephone number, email address, corporate affiliation and related interests.

Automatic Information: When you visit the Site, we collect your Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to track and aggregate non-personal information, including, but not limited to, browser and device information, data collected through automated electronic interactions, application usage data, demographic information, geographic or location information, statistical and aggregate information.

Statistical or aggregate information does not directly identify a specific individual, but can be derived from personal information. For example, we may aggregate personal information to calculate the percentage of users in a zip code. In some cases, we may combine automatic information with personal information, such as combining a geographic location with your name. When we combine automatic information with personal information, we treat the combined information as personal information.

Email Communications: We may receive a confirmation when you open an email from Iptor and may use this information to tailor the emails we send you and improve their relevance to you. Prior Consent: We may also send emails with information about Iptor or our partners, including promotions and events. If you complete the request form on the Site to receive additional information about the Service, we may use your email address to send you information about Iptor, our products and services, and our partners and partnerships. You may opt out of being contacted by us by sending an email to privacy.notification@iptor.com or by unsubscribing using the unsubscribe link in an email.

We may also use third party service providers to assist us with the email and marketing functions set out above. However, when we do so, we require those providers to enter into confidentiality agreements or otherwise agree to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information we receive from you. Third party service providers must comply with the GDPR.

Iptor and our third-party service providers may collect both personal information and automated data from a variety of sources, which generally fall into three categories:

  • Direct Interactions: From your use of the Channels and your interaction with us through the Channels and other activities such as submitting registrations and forms, download requests or sales inquiries and transactions.
  • Automated interactions: Through the use of technologies such as electronic communication protocols, cookies, embedded URLs or pixels or widgets, buttons and tools.

Although Iptor's use of automated interactions may change over time as technology evolves, the following descriptions are intended to provide you with additional details about Iptor's current practices for collecting information from automated interactions.

Electronic Communications Protocols: We may automatically receive information from you as part of the communications connection itself, which often consists of network routing information (where you came from), device information (browser type), your IP address (which may identify your general geographic location or company), and the date and time.

Iptor may also automatically receive and record information about your interaction with the Channels, such as clickstream information (when each Iptor web page was visited and how much time was spent on the page) or general geographic location data.

Cookies: A cookie is a small data file that is stored locally on your device when you visit a website. A "session cookie" expires immediately when you end your session (ie, close your browser). A "persistent cookie" stores information on the device so that the cookie information is still available even when you end your session and return to the same website later.

When you visit our website, we may use both session and persistent cookies. These cookies may contain information (such as a unique user ID) that is used to track your use of our website, and may be used to send you advertisements or offers when you visit our website or other websites. We use cookies to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when and by how many people pages on our website are visited, and to enable our server to recognize a returning visitor as a unique user. The cookies placed by the Iptor server can only be read by Iptor, and cookies cannot access, read or modify other data on a device.

Flash Cookies: We may use Flash cookies, also known as "local shared objects," on our electronic channels that employ Flash technology. Flash cookies are used to store site preferences and to personalize the look and feel of the site. Like regular cookies, Flash cookies are stored as small files on your device. One way to prevent Flash cookies from being placed is to adjust your preferences in the Macromedia privacy preference panel on macromedia.com .

Embedded URLs: Iptor may use a tracking technology that employs embedded URLs to enable use of the Electronic Channels without cookies. Embedded URLs allow limited information to follow you as you navigate the Electronic Channels, but are not linked to any personal information and are not used beyond the session.

Embedded pixels and similar technologies: On the electronic channels, Iptor and its service providers may use embedded pixel technologies to identify individual user visits (as opposed to aggregate hits) and for advertising purposes. In addition, embedded pixels or other technologies may be used in emails and our online display advertising to obtain information about when the email or ad was opened, to track response to the marketing campaign; the information collected using these technologies may be linked to the recipient's email address.

Widgets, buttons and tools: Our electronic channels may contain widgets, which are interactive mini-programs that run on our website to provide certain services provided by another company (such as links to bookmarked websites), as well as buttons or other tools that link to services provided by other companies (such as a "Like" button or a third-party map). The widget, button or tool may collect and automatically send to third parties personal information, such as your email address or other information (such as your browser information or IP address). Cookies may also be set or used by the widgets, buttons or tools to enable them to function properly or for other purposes, which may include advertising. The information collected or used by a widget, button or tool, including cookie settings and preferences, is subject to the privacy policy of the company that created it.

Rejection of cookies: You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use all the features of this website. By accepting cookies, you agree to the processing of data about you in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Google Analytics: This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”).

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the European Union and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where third parties process the data on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data stored by Google. For more information about Google Analytics or to deactivate Google Analytics, please visit: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

After the event, Iptor may contact you about the event and related products and services and share information about your participation with your company. Please note that our partners or conference sponsors may request your personal information directly at their conference booths or during their presentations. Iptor will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, as necessary to provide you with products or services, as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or at the time of collection, as necessary to comply with our legal obligations (e.g., to honor opt-outs), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, or as permitted by law.

Iptor uses some third parties to manage a limited number of Iptor ads on third party electronic channels. No personal information is shared with advertisers as part of this process, but aggregated profile data, such as user community, may be used in selecting advertising to ensure it is relevant to the user. Some advertising banners may have an embedded pixel that, while not linked to a cookie or other personal information, may return session data that helps advertisers better determine how many unique users have clicked on the advertising banner.

Iptor may also participate in third party advertising networks that use other information they collect on our behalf to show you Iptor-related advertisements tailored to your individual interests on third party websites. This technique includes retargeting, contextual or behavioral advertising.
